평화를 위한 기도 4 '남과 북이 사이좋게 잘 살면 좋겠어요'

하나님,
학교에서는 친구들과 사이좋게 지내라고 배우는데
남과 북의 친구들이 사이좋게 지낼 날은 언제쯤 오게 될까요?
요즘 어른들 얘기를 들어보면
북한에 가뭄이 심하대요.
어려울 때 바로바로 도와주면 좋을텐데
그럴 수 없나봐요.
하나님, 왜 도와주는 것을 다른 나라에게 허락받아야 하나요?
남과 북이 힘들고 배고플 때 언제든
서로 도와줄 수 있는 좋은 친구가 되게 해주세요.
남과 북이 하나님의 사랑을 느껴서
다 같이 잘 살면 참 좋겠어요.
그러니 하나님 우리의 기도를 꼬옥 들어주세요.
저희를 도와주실 거죠?
예수님 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

Gracious God,
In school, we learn that we should get along well with our friends.
When will the day come when the South and
North Korean friends will get along well with each other?
Merciful Lord,
We are told by adults that the drought is severe in North Korea.
It would be great if we could help whenever they need help,
but we cannot help.
Almighty God,
Why do we need to get permission from some other country when we want to help each other?
Please help South Korea and North Korea be the kind of good friends that,
whenever it is difficult for either of us or whenever we are hungry, we can help each other.
I pray that we Koreans in the South and the North learn to live well together in harmony.
Lord, help us now!

한국기독교교회협의회(NCCK)는 지난 68회 정기총회에서 “평화를 이루기까지 있는 힘을 다할 것”(시 34:14)을 다짐하고, 한국전쟁 발발 70년을 맞는 올해 2020년을 한반도에서 전쟁을 종식하고 평화협정을 실현하는 “희년의 해”로 선포하였습니다.
이 희년운동의 일환으로 세계교회협의회 (WCC)와 함께 3월 1일부터 8월 15일까지 “한반도평화를 위한 세계기도운동”을 전개하오니, 이번 주부터 매주 보내드리는 기도문 (혹은 신앙간증문)을 가지고 교회와 가정, 직장과 각 자의 삶의 자리에서 이 기도운동에 적극 참여하여 주시기 바랍니다.
