평화를 위한 기도 5 '어느 무지렁이의 기도'

생명과 평화의 하나님,
분단과 전쟁과 냉전의 상처를 간직한 채
절망의 벼랑 끝에 서 있는
이 땅의 무지렁이들의 기도를 들어주옵소서
꿈 같이 이루어진 남북정상회담과 북미정상회담이
한반도와 동북아시아의 공동의 평화를 설계하는
‘희망제작소’가 되게 하옵소서
남과 북이 모든 대립과 갈등의 창과 방패를 내려놓고
서로를 향해 용서를 선언하므로
치유되고 화해된 한반도를 향해 어깨동무하게 하옵소서
힘을 사랑하는 주변 강대국들이 전쟁의 연습을 멈추고
한반도를 향한 탐욕과 경쟁의 마음을 비우므로
평화공존에 이르는 길을 함께 열어가게 하옵소서
이 땅에서 살아갈 미래의 일곱 세대들에게
분단의 갈등과 고통을 대물림 하는 어리석음을
더 이상 되풀이 하지 않게 하옵소서
이 땅의 어린이와 청소년들의 마음 속에
DMZ에서 펼쳐질 세계생태평화축제와
동북아시아 평화공동체의 비전이 넘쳐나게 하옵소서
구원과 해방의 하나님,
분단과 냉전의 질곡을 살아가면서도
하나님이 원하시는 평화 세상을 꿈꾸는
이 땅의 무지렁이들의 기도를 들어주옵소서
이 땅의 교회들이 드리는 기도 속에
분단과 냉전으로 상처 입은 민족을 향한
사랑과 용서, 치유와 화해, 평화와 상생에의 갈망이 넘쳐나게 하옵소서
예수님의 십자가의 죽음이
하나님의 구원역사의 끝이 아니었듯이
분단이 하나님이 이끄는 우리 민족 역사의 끝이 아님을 믿게 하옵소서
제국의 압제 아래 고통 당하는 히브리 노예들의 탄식을 들으시고
내려와 출애굽의 역사를 이끄신 하나님께서
분단의 굴레를 벗기시고 온전한 구원과 해방의 은총을 내려주옵소서
남과 북, 그리고 온 세계가 한반도에 평화의 봄을 경작하며
분단과 냉전을 넘어 구원과 해방의 역사를 이루는
판문점 평화프로세스의 새로운 출발선에 함께 서게 하여 주옵소서
Prayer of an Earthworm

God of life and peace,
For those storing up the wounds of division and war,
Standing on the brink of despair,
Please listen to their prayers, the prayers of the earthworms.
As if in a dream, the inter-Korean and North Korea-US summits that have come,
For laying the groundwork of the common peace of the Korean peninsula and Northeast Asia,
Let them become the “Factory of Hope.”
May South and North lay down all confrontation and the spears and shields of conflict!
Declaring to each other a proclamation of forgiveness, and
May the healed and reconciled Korean peninsula stand shoulder-to-shoulder!
May the surrounding superpower nations, who love their power, cease the practice of war!
And empty themselves of their greed and competition over the Korean peninsula,
Let us open the path together toward peaceful coexistence.
For the future seven generations that will live on this earth,
May the foolishness of the suffering and the conflict of division,
No longer continue to be repeated!
In the hearts of the children and youth of this land,
May we hold a world ecological peace festival in the DMZ!
And may the vision of a North East Asian Common House be overflowing!
God of salvation and liberation,
Hear the prayers of the earthworms of this land,
Who live with the shackles of division and cold war,
Who dream of the peaceful world that God desires.
In the prayers of the churches of this land,
For the people of the nation wounded by division and cold war,
May love and forgiveness, healing and reconciliation, peaceful co-existence overflow!
As Jesus’ death on the cross
Was not the end of God’s history of salvation.
Let us believe that division will not be the end of God leading our nation’s history.
Hearing the cries of the Hebrew slaves suffering under the oppression of the empire,
O God, who came down to lead the history of the Exodus,
Please remove the yoke of division and give us the grace of complete salvation and liberation.
So that South, North and the world may cultivate a spring of peace on the Korean peninsula,
Beyond the division and the Cold War, to realize the history of salvation and liberation,
Please stand alongside us at the new starting line.

한국기독교교회협의회(NCCK)는 지난 68회 정기총회에서 “평화를 이루기까지 있는 힘을 다할 것”(시 34:14)을 다짐하고, 한국전쟁 발발 70년을 맞는 올해 2020년을 한반도에서 전쟁을 종식하고 평화협정을 실현하는 “희년의 해”로 선포하였습니다.
이 희년운동의 일환으로 세계교회협의회 (WCC)와 함께 3월 1일부터 8월 15일까지 “한반도평화를 위한 세계기도운동”을 전개하오니, 이번 주부터 매주 보내드리는 기도문 (혹은 신앙간증문)을 가지고 교회와 가정, 직장과 각 자의 삶의 자리에서 이 기도운동에 적극 참여하여 주시기 바랍니다.
