한국기독교교회협의회(NCCK)는 지난 68회 정기총회에서 “평화를 이루기까지 있는 힘을 다할 것”(시 34:14)을 다짐하고, 한국전쟁 발발 70년을 맞는 올해 2020년을 한반도에서 전쟁을 종식하고 평화협정을 실현하는 “희년의 해”로 선포하였습니다.이 희년운동의 일환으로 세계교회협의회 (WCC)와 함께 3월 1일부터 8월 15일까지 “한반도평화를 위한 세계기도운동”을 전개하오니, 이번 주부터 매주 보내드리는 기도문 (혹은 신앙간증문)을 가지고 교회와 가정, 직장과 각 자의 삶의 자리에서 이 기도운동에 적극 참여하여 주시기 바랍니다.
평화를 위한 기도 9: “북의 여성과 어린이를 위한 기도”생명과 평화의 하나님온전히 나를 내어 죽으신 십자가의 사랑과 헌신을 기억하며그리스도의 나눔과 베풂이 우리 삶에 넘쳐나기를 기도합니다. 이 땅 한반도에 발을 딛고 함께 살아가지만체제의 벽에 가로막혀서로의 아픔을 돌보지 못하는 우리를 불쌍히 여겨주소서.경제 제재와 자연 재해라는 이중고 속에서누구보다 어려움에 처해있는 북의 어린이와 여성들을 위로하시고우리의 마음과 손길이 닿을 수 있도록 인도하소서.북녘과 남녘의 어린이들이 맘껏 어깨동무하고여성들이 기쁨으로 손에 손잡으며생명평화세상을 힘있게 열어가게 하소서.우리에게 온전한 사랑으로 와주신 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘- 한영수 회장/ 전국 YWCA 연맹
Prayer for Peace 9: “Prayer for Women and Children in North Korea”God of life,We give you thanks for your love that you have given yourself on the cross. May the love of Christ overflow our lives! Have mercy on us who are blocked by the walls of division and unable to care for each other’s pain.God of mercy,In the midst of economic sanctions and natural disasters, may you comfort the children and women who are doubly burden. May our hearts and hands reach them!God of peace,May the North and South Korean children walk shoulder to shoulder and women to join hands with joy. Help us to open up a world of life and peace.In the name of Jesus Christ, who came to us with perfect love, we pray. Amen!

평화를 위한 기도 8
은총의 하나님,
우리를 평화와 통일의 길로 이끄소서. 우리 민족은 고려와 조선을 거치면서 천년동안 하나의 나라였습니다. 그러나 일제 감정기가 끝나면서, 외세에 의해 남과 북이 나뉘었습니다. 나뉘었을 뿐만 아니라, 냉전시대의 대리전 같은 비극적인 한국전쟁을 치렀습니다. 전쟁은 남과 북 모두에게 깊은 상처를 남겼고, 그 상처는 여전히 평화와 통일을 향한 우리의 발목을 붙잡고 있습니다. 주여! 우리의 깊은 상처를 치유하여 주옵소서.
평화의 하나님,
70년 넘는 분단의 세월을 지나오는 동안 크고 작은 평화의 몸짓이 있었습니다. 1972년 7.4 남북 공동성명을 통해 ‘자주, 평화, 민족 대단결’의 통일의 기본원칙을 합의하였고, 1991년 남북기본합의서를 통해 ‘남북 사이의 화해와 불가침 및 교류협력에 관한 합의서’를 작성하기도 했습니다. 2000년 6월에는 평양에서 감격적인 남북정상회담이 성사되고 ‘6.15 공동선언’이 이루어졌으며, 2007년 남북정상에 의한 ‘10.4 남북공동선언’이 채택되기도 하였습니다. 그리고 드디어 2018년 평창 올림픽 이후의 화해분위기에 힘입어 남과 북의 정상이 4.27 판문점 선언을 하기에 이르렀습니다. 그러나 우리가 기대하던 평화의 길은 생각보다 험난하였습니다. 북미정상회담이 이루어지고 새로운 평화의 출구를 찾는 듯 했으나 여전히 한반도는 불확실성에 휩싸여 있습니다. 주여! 우리를 불쌍히 여겨 주옵소서.
구원의 하나님,
그동안의 모든 남북공동선언의 기조는 우리 민족의 운명을 우리 스스로 결정한다는 민족 자주의 원칙이었습니다. 이 땅을 살고 있는 주인인 우리가 서로 힘을 합쳐 자주적 통일을 해야 한다는 것이 변함없는 우리의 생각이고 고백이었습니다. 그러나 슬프게도 우리의 분단이 외세에 의한 것이었듯이, 우리의 통일을 향한 길에도 외세의 장벽이 가로놓여 있음을 목격합니다. UN 제재의 틀 안에서 남북관계의 돌파구를 열기 위한 우리 정부의 북한 개별관광시도가 간섭을 당하고, 남북 철도연결사업, 남북교류협력을 위한 비군사적 비무장지대의 출입도 통제당하는 등 여러 가지 어려움을 겪고 있습니다. 하나님, 주변강대국들이 한반도 문제를 자국의 이익에서 바라보지 않게 하시고, 당사자인 남북의 평화와 공동번영의 시각으로 바라볼 수 있게 하여 주옵소서. 무엇보다 남과 북이 어떤 외세의 간섭에도 서로에 대한 깊은 신뢰와 인내를 가지고, 평화와 통일을 향해 용기 있는 걸음을 내딛게 하옵소서. 이 땅의 교회들이 분단극복을 위한 평화의 십자가를 지게 하시고, 분단의 상처를 인해 여전히 갈등하는 남남갈등의 깊은 골을 메우는 평화의 다리가 되게 하옵소서. 주여! 우리를 평화와 통일의 길로 이끄소서.

Prayer for Peace 8: “To End the Conflict between South and North Korea”
Gracious God,
Lead us to peace and reunification! Our nation was once one country over thousand years during the Koryo and Joseon dynasties. However, foreign forces divided North and South Korea at the end of the Japanese occupation of Korea. Our nation is not just divided into two; but it went to war as if it displayed the pattern of the Cold War. The Korean War has deeply damaged both the North and the South, and we are not able to make progress towards peace and reunification because of the deep wounds. Lord, heal our deep wounds!
God of peace,
In the course of more than 70 years of division, there has been some efforts in the peace process. In 1972, we established the three principles of reunification, 1) independence, 2) peace, and 3) nation-wide unity in the 7.4 South and North Korea Joint Statement. In December 1991, we also signed the Agreement on Reconciliation, Nonaggression, and Exchanges and Cooperation. In June 2000, the historic inter-Korean summit was held in Pyongyang, and the “6.15 Joint Declaration” was made. In 2007, the “10.4 Inter-Korean Joint Declaration” was adopted. Eventually, due to the atmosphere of reconciliation after the 2018 Pyongchang Olympics, the leaders of North and South Korea adopted the 4.27 Panmunjom Declaration. Nevertheless, the path of peace that we expected was more difficult than we thought. Lord, have mercy on us!
God of salvation,
The foundation of all the South-North joint declarations has been the principle of national independence, which determines our own destiny. We still confess that we are the masters of this land and we have to work together for our self-reunification. Sadly, we see foreign forces on our path to reunification, just as the foreign powers divided our division. Within the framework of UN sanctions, the attempts of the government of the Republic of Korea (South Korea) to break through the inter-Korean relations, including the inter-Korean railroad projects and inter-Korean exchange cooperation have been interfered by the foreign forces. God! Guide the neighbouring powers to seek the interests of the Korean people above their own interests instead! Above all, May the South and the North take courageous steps toward peace and reunification with deep trust and patience in each other in spite of any foreign interference. May the churches of Korea carry the cross of peace, becoming a bridge of peace that fills the deep gaps of the South-South conflict because of the wounds of division! Lord, lead us to peace and reunification!

한반도 전쟁 종식을 바라는 죄 많은 종들의 소리를 들으사 분단된 이 땅이 다시 하나가 되게 하옵소서.
주님,
우리로 하여금 오직 평화와 화합만이 나라의 발전을 보장할 수 있다는 것을 깨닫게 하옵소서. 적대감은 인류뿐 아니라 당신의 거룩한 뜻과 상반된 것임을 고백합니다.
주님,
강대국의 마음을 감화하사 그들로 하여금 갈등을 종식시키고 그 어떤 지정학적 이익보다 한반도의 이익과 평화를 고려하게 하소서.

Prayer for Peace 7: “To End the Conflict between South and North Korea”
Most merciful Lord, we confess to You, in a spirit of repentance and contrition, that even though 70 years have passed since the beginning of the catastrophic for our Country civil war, we are still experiencing the drama of the division between North and South Korea, something which is against your Holy Will. Lord, we ask you to forgive us and listen to the voices of your sinful servants praying for the end of the war on the Korean peninsula, so that our hearts and our countries may be once again united.
Lord, help us to fully acknowledge that only peace and harmony can safeguard the progress of a nation. Hostility is contrary to the very nature of the human being and Your holy will.
Lord, illumine the minds and hearts of the powerful of this world, so that they may assist in in bringing an end to this conflict and considering the interests of the Korean Nation above all other geopolitical interests. Lord, we beseech you, the Lord of Peace, grant us your wisdom and light so that we may all work together for peace, goodwill and harmony among us.Lord, make us worthy of handing over to the next generations a united Korean Peninsula, so that we may all live without the fear and agony of war, but with love, peace and security. Because, Lord, you are our help and our power, and to you we ascribe glory, together with the Father and the Holy Spirit, now and ever and to the ages of ages, Amen.

Prayer for Peace 7: “To End the Conflict between South and North Korea”
Most merciful Lord, we confess to You, in a spirit of repentance and contrition, that even though 70 years have passed since the beginning of the catastrophic for our Country civil war, we are still experiencing the drama of the division between North and South Korea, something which is against your Holy Will. Lord, we ask you to forgive us and listen to the voices of your sinful servants praying for the end of the war on the Korean peninsula, so that our hearts and our countries may be once again united.
Lord, help us to fully acknowledge that only peace and harmony can safeguard the progress of a nation. Hostility is contrary to the very nature of the human being and Your holy will.
Lord, illumine the minds and hearts of the powerful of this world, so that they may assist in in bringing an end to this conflict and considering the interests of the Korean Nation above all other geopolitical interests. Lord, we beseech you, the Lord of Peace, grant us your wisdom and light so that we may all work together for peace, goodwill and harmony among us.Lord, make us worthy of handing over to the next generations a united Korean Peninsula, so that we may all live without the fear and agony of war, but with love, peace and security. Because, Lord, you are our help and our power, and to you we ascribe glory, together with the Father and the Holy Spirit, now and ever and to the ages of ages, Amen.

- 2020 한반도 희년 세계교회 기도운동 (3월 3주) 평화를 위한 기도7

한국기독교교회협의회(NCCK)는 지난 68회 정기총회에서 “평화를 이루기까지 있는 힘을 다할 것”(시 34:14)을 다짐하고, 한국전쟁 발발 70년을 맞는 올해 2020년을 한반도에서 전쟁을 종식하고 평화협정을 실현하는 “희년의 해”로 선포하였습니다.
이 희년운동의 일환으로 세계교회협의회 (WCC)와 함께 3월 1일부터 8월 15일까지 “한반도평화를 위한 세계기도운동”을 전개하오니, 이번 주부터 매주 보내드리는 기도문 (혹은 신앙간증문)을 가지고 교회와 가정, 직장과 각 자의 삶의 자리에서 이 기도운동에 적극 참여하여 주시기 바랍니다.
평화를 위한 기도 7: “남북의 화해를 위하여”
자비로우신 주님,
남과 북이 전쟁의 재앙이 시작된 지 70년이 지났지만, 우리는 여전히 당신의 뜻과 상반된 분단을 경험하고 있음을 회개와 참회의 정신으로 고백합니다.
주님,
한반도 전쟁 종식을 바라는 죄 많은 종들의 소리를 들으사 분단된 이 땅이 다시 하나가 되게 하옵소서.
주님,
우리로 하여금 오직 평화와 화합만이 나라의 발전을 보장할 수 있다는 것을 깨닫게 하옵소서. 적대감은 인류뿐 아니라 당신의 거룩한 뜻과 상반된 것임을 고백합니다.
주님,
강대국의 마음을 감화하사 그들로 하여금 갈등을 종식시키고 그 어떤 지정학적 이익보다 한반도의 이익과 평화를 고려하게 하소서.
주님,
평화의 주님이 지혜와 빛을 허락하셔서 우리로 하여금 평화와 선의와 화합을 위해 함께 일할수 있게 하옵소서.
주님,
다음 세대에 통일된 한반도를 넘겨주어 그들이 전쟁의 두려움 없이 사랑과 평화의 복된 삶을 살아갈 수 있게 하옵소서.
주님,

생명의 하나님, 평화의 하나님, 정의의 하나님!
우리가 함께,
한반도 주민들을 위해 기도합니다.
남과 북의 모든 이들을 위해,
청년과 노인,
여성과 남성,
힘 있는 이들과 힘 없는 이들,
강한 믿음을 가진 이들과 희망을 잃어버린 이들,
평화를 갈망하며 목마른 모든 이들을 위해 기도합니다.
평화를 위해,
새로운 연대와 우정을 선물로 줄 지속 가능한 평화를 위해,
마음의 평화와 땅의 평화를 위해,
그래서 남과 북이 그리고 한반도주민들이
영원한 하나님나라의 정의, 소망, 기쁨의 징표가 되기를 기도합니다.
하나님, 우리를 긍휼히 여겨주십시오!

Prayer for Peace 1
God of life, God of peace, God of justice!
Together we pray for the people of Korea,
in the north and in the south,
for young and old,
for women and men,
for the powerful and the powerless,
for those who have a strong faith and those who have lost hope,
for all who thirst and long for peace,
for a just peace,
for a sustainable, lasting peace
that can bring the gifts of renewed kinship and friendship,
for a peace in the mind and peace in the land
so that the peninsula and the people of Korea
can be a sign
of the justice, hope and joy of your eternal reign.
God in your mercy!
