평화를 위한 기도 12

샬롬의 하나님!
저희에게 평화로운 세상 가운데서 생명의 축복을 온전히 누리며 살도록 은총을 베풀어 주셨음을 기억하며 감사드립니다. 그러나 저희는 70년 전 한반도에서 형제자매를 서로 죽이고 싸우는 전쟁의 비극과 고통을 겪었습니다. 그로 인해 서로에 대한 증오와 불신, 폭력의 악령이 지금까지도 한반도를 짓누르고 있습니다. 저희에게 증오가 아닌 사랑의 마음을 부어 주소서. 폭력의 악령이 아닌 평화의 영이 저희 심령가운데서 샘솟게 하소서. 그리하여 저희 마음이 깨끗해지고, 저희보다 앞서서 갈라진 남북한을 하나로 연결하시고, 평화와 번영의 새로운 공동체로 이끄시는 주님의 샬롬의 경륜을 보게 하시고, 그 초대에 응답하게 하소서.
십자가에 달리시고 부활하신 예수 그리스도여 !
주님은 세상의 폭력과 죄악을 없애시기 위해 십자가를 짊어지시고, 비폭력 평화의 길을 활짝 열어 주셨습니다. 세계와 한국의 그리스도인들이 평화로운 한반도를 만들어가기 위해, 지혜롭고 담대하게 평화의 십자가를 짊어지게 하소서. 불의하고 폭력적인 분단체제에 대해 단호하게 ‘아니오’를, 정의롭고 평화로운 한반도 체제에 대해서는 분명한 ‘예’를 말하게 하소서.
부활하신 주님과 함께 분단의 갈릴리 땅에서 새로운 평화의 씨앗을 심게 하소서.
소통하게 하시고 하나 되게 하시는 성령이시여!
70년 동안 너무도 다르게 살아온 남쪽 사람들과 북쪽 사람들이, 서로의 차이를 인정하고, 존중하며, 하나의 민족공동체로 회복되게 하소서.
그리하여 세계의 정의로운 평화와 화해, 일치를 향한 제사장의 직분을 감당하는 민족과 공동체로 거듭나게 하여 주소서.
이 일에 한국교회와 세계교회가 한 마음 한 뜻으로 연결되게 하시고, 그 가운데 역사하시는
성삼위 하나님의 현존과 활동에 더욱 깨어 있게 하시고, 열려 있게 하소서.
Prayer for Peace 12

God of peace,
We give you thanks for what you have given us the full blessings of life in a peaceful world. But Koreans went through the tragedy and suffering of war, killing brothers and sisters and fighting each other 70 years ago. Evil spirits of hatred, disbelief, and violence against each other have continued to crush the Korean Peninsula. Pour out your love upon us so we may overcome our hatred toward each other. May the spirit of peace, not the evil spirit of violence, spring up in our hearts.
May our hearts be cleansed, unite the two Koreas into one, and show us your Shalom that leads us to peace, reunification, and prosperity. Help us to respond faithfully to your invitation to a peaceful world.
Our Lord, Jesus Christ,
You died in the cross and opened the way of nonviolent peace to get rid violence and sin in the world. May the Christians in Korea and in the world carry the cross of peace boldly to build a peaceful Korean Peninsula! Help us to say “no” to unjust and violent divisions, and “yes” to a just and peaceful Korean Peninsula. Plant new seeds of peace in the divided Galielee (Korea) with the power of resurrection!
Holy Spirit,
May the North Korean and South Korean citizens, who have lived so differently for 70 years, respect the social cultural differences caused by the separation, and restore one another as one nation.
May we be born again into a nation that bears the priesthood for just peace, reconciliation, and unity of the world! For this, let the churches in Korea and the world be connected with one another! May we be more awake and open to the presence and activity of the Holy Trinity!
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen!

한국기독교교회협의회(NCCK)는 지난 68회 정기총회에서 “평화를 이루기까지 있는 힘을 다할 것”(시 34:14)을 다짐하고, 한국전쟁 발발 70년을 맞는 올해 2020년을 한반도에서 전쟁을 종식하고 평화협정을 실현하는 “희년의 해”로 선포하였습니다.
이 희년운동의 일환으로 세계교회협의회 (WCC)와 함께 3월 1일부터 8월 15일까지 “한반도평화를 위한 세계기도운동”을 전개하오니, 이번 주부터 매주 보내드리는 기도문 (혹은 신앙간증문)을 가지고 교회와 가정, 직장과 각 자의 삶의 자리에서 이 기도운동에 적극 참여하여 주시기 바랍니다.
