평화를 위한 기도14 “북한이탈주민과 한 가족으로 살게 하옵소서”

분단으로 겪는 고통과 아픔을 아시는 하나님,
한민족이었던 남과 북이 70년의 세월동안
너무도 다른 체제와 문화, 경제적 상황에 놓여 있습니다.
목숨을 걸고 국경선을 넘어 우리 곁으로 온 북한이탈주민들은
새 삶을 찾고 진정한 가족이 되고자 하지만
우리는 오해와 편견으로 차별하고 존중하지 못했습니다.
우리의 잘못을 용서하여 주옵소서.
다양한 이유와 아픔들을 가슴에 품고 넘어와
우리 사회에 적응하기 위해 애쓰는 북한이탈주민의 아픔을 이해하고
우리 사회의 일원으로 인정하는 넉넉한 마음을 주옵소서.
새로운 환경에서 살아가도록 배려하며
따뜻한 마음과 변함없는 관심으로
행복한 공동체를 만들어가게 하옵소서.
단지 선교를 위한 의도로 그들에게 다가가지 않게 하시고
우리의 문화를 강요하기 보다는
서로의 문화를 배움으로 우리 사회를 풍성하게 하옵소서.
북한이탈주민과 더불어 살아가는 연습을 통해
통일 세상을 준비하기 위해서는
기다림이 필요하다는 것을 깨닫게 하옵소서.
이 땅에 통일이 오기를 간절히 소망하며
예수 그리스도의 이름으로 기도드립니다. 아멘.
Peace Prayer14 “For the North Korean Defectors”

God who knows the pain of division,
Korea was once one country, but the North and the South are now very different social systems, cultures, and economic situations. North Korean defectors, who risked their lives and crossed the border, want to find a new life, but we have discriminated them because of our misunderstandings and prejudice. Lord, forgive our sins.
God who is generous to all people,
Give us a generous heart to understand the pain of North Korean defectors who are trying to adapt our South Korean society and to recognize them as members of our South Korean society. Make us to care for them with warm heart and help us to create a happy community with them.
God who unites divided hearts,
May we not approach them with the intention of evangelism or forcing them to accept our culture! Enrich our society by learning each other’s cultures. Help us to prepare for a unified Korea by practicing living with North Koreans defectors.
As we long for the unity to come to this land, we pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen!

한국기독교교회협의회(NCCK)는 지난 68회 정기총회에서 “평화를 이루기까지 있는 힘을 다할 것”(시 34:14)을 다짐하고, 한국전쟁 발발 70년을 맞는 올해 2020년을 한반도에서 전쟁을 종식하고 평화협정을 실현하는 “희년의 해”로 선포하였습니다.
이 희년운동의 일환으로 세계교회협의회 (WCC)와 함께 3월 1일부터 8월 15일까지 “한반도평화를 위한 세계기도운동”을 전개하오니, 이번 주부터 매주 보내드리는 기도문 (혹은 신앙간증문)을 가지고 교회와 가정, 직장과 각 자의 삶의 자리에서 이 기도운동에 적극 참여하여 주시기 바랍니다.
