한반도 평화를 위한 기도 26

평화의 하나님,
우리가 살고 있는 한반도에 평화를 주시옵소서. 70년 전 이 땅은 피로 얼룩졌습니다. 70년 전 한국전쟁은 세계의 수많은 젊은이들이 참여하여 희생을 당했습니다.내전은 국제전으로 비화되었고 전쟁에 참여한 세계의 많은 젊은이들은 고국으로 돌아가지 못한 채 이 땅에 묻혀 있습니다.
전쟁은 끝나는 것 같았지만 한반도는 한국전쟁 이후에 정전분단체제로 이어지고 있습니다. 분단의 상징인 휴전선(DMZ)안에는 서로 총부리를 겨누고 싸우던 군인들이 땅속에 묻혀 뼈들이 뒤엉켜 있습니다.
분단체제는 수많은 젊은이들이 고국으로 돌아가지 못하고 오랜 세월 이국의 땅속에 묻혀 있게 했습니다. 이제 한국전쟁 70년이 되었습니다. 이스라엘 백성들을 베벨론 포로에서 회복하게 하신 것처럼 한반도에 평화체제를 허락하여 주시옵소서. 서로 싸우고 피를 흘린 일들이 얼마나 미련한 일인지 깨닫게 하여 주시옵소서. 한반도의 평화는 단순히 지엽적인 문제가 아닙니다. 세계와 연결되어 있습니다. 한반도의 평화는 곧 세계평화를 가져옴을 잘 알고 있습니다.
이제 평화체제 아래서 분단이 극복되고 땅 속에 묻혀 있는 군인들이 가족의 품으로 돌아가게 하여 주시옵소서. 처절하게 피 흘리고 싸웠던 아픔의 자리에서 평화의 꽃이 피어나게 하여 주시옵소서. 이제 분단의 넘어 남과 북이 서로 함께 살아갈 수 있는 상생의 공동체를 만들어 가게 하시며 한반도의 평화가 세계 곳곳의 분쟁과 아픔의 자리에 희망을 주는 평화의 물결이 되게 하여 주시옵소서. 이제 집단적인 각성이 일어나게 하시고 안보프레임을 넘어 평화의 길로 나아갈 수 있도록 평화의 주님께서 함께하여 주시옵소서.
평화의 왕으로 오신 주 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 기도드립니다. 아멘.
Prayer for Peace 26

God of peace,
Give us peace on the Korean Peninsula where we live. Seventy years ago, this land was smudged with blood. Countless young people in 21 countries sacrificed their lives. The internal war sparked an international war, and many young people in the world who have been involved in the war are buried in this land without returning to their home countries.
The Korean Armistice Agreement brought about a complete cessation of hostilities of the Korean War, but the two Koreas are technically still at war, engaged in a frozen conflict. In the DMZ area, the symbol of division, soldiers who were fighting with their guns, now their bodies were lying with their bones completely entangled. The division system has kept many young people unable to return home and buried in a foreign country for many years.
Lord,
We ask you grant peace on the Korean Peninsula, as you restored the people of Israel from the captivity of Babylon. Help us to realize how foolish it is to fight each other. We should take into consideration the broader implications and impact of tensions on the Korean peninsula for North East Asia and other parts of the world.
God of justice,
May we overcome the division and achieve a permanent peace so that the soldiers buried in this land may return to their families. May the flower of peace bloom in the place of pain where we bled and fought bitterly.
May we now go beyond the wall of division and create a win-win community where the North and the South can live together. May the peace of the Korean Peninsula be a wave of peace that gives hope to conflicts and pains around the world. May the Lord of peace awaken us so that we may move beyond the security frame to the path of peace.

한국기독교교회협의회(NCCK)는 지난 68회 정기총회에서 “평화를 이루기까지 있는 힘을 다할 것”(시 34:14)을 다짐하고, 한국전쟁 발발 70년을 맞는 올해 2020년을 한반도에서 전쟁을 종식하고 평화협정을 실현하는 “희년의 해”로 선포하였습니다.
이 희년운동의 일환으로 세계교회협의회 (WCC)와 함께 3월 1일부터 8월 15일까지 “한반도평화를 위한 세계기도운동”을 전개하오니, 이번 주부터 매주 보내드리는 기도문 (혹은 신앙간증문)을 가지고 교회와 가정, 직장과 각 자의 삶의 자리에서 이 기도운동에 적극 참여하여 주시기 바랍니다.
