한반도 평화를 위한 기도 43

창조주 하나님,
당신의 자녀들에게 창조 세계를 맡기시고 기뻐하며 돌보게 하심에 감사합니다. 특별히, 한반도에 아름다운 자연과 사람이 있게 하심에 감사합니다.
사랑의 하나님,
당신의 백성들이 전 세계에 퍼져 서로 다른 신앙과 정체성을 가지고 살도록 창조하심에 깊이 감사합니다. 당신께서 우리의 선조들에게 약속하셨듯이, 당신은 결핍과 갈등의 어려운 상황에서도 결코 우리를 저버리지 않으실 것을 압니다. 당신은 예수 그리스도를 통해 당신의 모든 백성들이 생명을 가지고 풍성한 삶을 누리게 하겠다고 약속하셨습니다.
이에 우리는 당신께 간구합니다.
- 1953년 이후 헤어져 살아가는 한반도 사람들에게 자비를 베풀어 주시옵소서. 그들이 갈망하는 대로 전쟁의 공포나 이산의 고통 없이 당신의 백성으로서 풍성한 삶을 누리며 살게 하시옵소서.
- 한반도 사람들이 2000년 이후 남북정상회담을 통해 보여준 평화와 통일을 향한 뜨거운 염원을 들어주시옵소서.
- 2018년 4월 27일 판문점 선언에서 구상된 대로 정전체제가 종식되고 평화의 비전이 되살아나게 하시옵소서.
- 전 세계 지도자들, 특히 한반도의 지도자들이 분단된 땅을 이끌어 하나의 민족과 하나의 나라로서 생명의 완성을 이루게 하시옵소서.
- 한국기독교교회협의회는 많은 교회협 지도자들과 함께 이 땅과 민족의 통일을 위한 첫걸음으로 북과 남의 평화조약 체결을 강력히 요청하고 있습니다. 교회와 에큐메니칼 기관, 그리스도인들이 이들의 호소에 응답하도록 지혜를 주시옵소서.
- 에큐메니칼 기관과 교회들이 “공의를 실천하고 인자를 사랑하며 겸손히 그들의 하나님과 함께 행하게” 하시옵소서.

Creator God,
We give thanks to you for the creation that you endowed your children to enjoy and to nurture. We thank you especially for the Korean Peninsula for its enchanting beauty and people.
God of Love,
With deep gratitude, you have created us to be your people scattered across the globe with different living faiths and ideologies. Just as you promised our foreparents, you will not forsake any of us despite challenging circumstances of want and conflict. You promise through Jesus Christ that all your people will have life and life abundant.
We therefore beseech you to:
- Have mercy on the Korean people who remain divided since 1953 and yearn for the promise of life abundant as a people without fear of war or further suffering as divided families;
- Grant to the people of Korea in their ardent aspiration for peace and reunification, as demonstrated in the summits between the leaders of South and North since 2000;
- Revitalize the vision of peace by ending the Armistice as envisioned in the Panmunjom Declaration of April 27, 2018;
- Grant us with leaders around the world, especially those in Korea, who have vision and courage to steer the divided Peninsula towards the fulfilment of life as one people and one nation;
- Give wisdom to the churches, ecumenical organization and Christians to respond to the appeals of the National Council of Churches of Korean and its many leaders to advocate strongly for a peace treaty between North and South Korea as a first step towards a reunified land and people; and
- Call on the ecumenical organizations and churches to “do justice, love mercy and walk humbly with their God.

한국기독교교회협의회(NCCK)는 지난 68회 정기총회에서 “평화를 이루기까지 있는 힘을 다할 것”(시 34:14)을 다짐하고, 한국전쟁 발발 70년을 맞는 올해 2020년을 한반도에서 전쟁을 종식하고 평화협정을 실현하는 “희년의 해”로 선포하였습니다.
이 희년운동의 일환으로 세계교회협의회 (WCC)와 함께 3월 1일부터 8월 15일까지 “한반도평화를 위한 세계기도운동”을 전개하오니, 이번 주부터 매주 보내드리는 기도문 (혹은 신앙간증문)을 가지고 교회와 가정, 직장과 각 자의 삶의 자리에서 이 기도운동에 적극 참여하여 주시기 바랍니다.
